These Fearful Woods

There is something wrong with the Mournwood...

These woods on the edge of Darkenhaven have long been a treacherous and terrible place. Foolhardy adventurers and uncaring nobles have repeatedly sought to find wealth and secrets in the woods, but few ever return... much less go back. While the dangers have always seemed contained, something has begun to change about the woods in recent anums...

The group called the Emerald Cloak, or the Verdrasyn, have increased activity and recruitment. The Mournwood has been changing and these self-appointed are fighting against something in the woods now more than ever. 

You've been asked to join a crew to find an artifact in the woods. Donald and Aundrea Aernylds are looking for a team to help recover this item and bring it back to them for safekeeping. Other groups in the city, including their own family, are seeking it for their own gain... so the Aernylds wish to grab it before them and secure it in the Darkenhaven Citadel.
